Reading Skills

 



The book I will be doing reading skills on is the book, Million Dollar Throw by Mike Lupica. When I was reading this book, I had noticed a lot of imagery used in the book such as, "The thunderous croud, full of all kinds of noises and faces, cheered for me as I released the ball and it sailed through the hole." I beleive that shows imagery because Lupica is telling the reader how the croud is full of differnt people with differnt sounds and faces, and by showing how loud they were by using the word thunderous. Lupica also uses some upper level diction words to explain a lot of his actions throughout the book.
